The following Purchase Terms, together
with Our Policies (collectively
referred to as the "Terms and Conditions") govern your use of Baby Wishes’ website
and the purchase of products by you from Baby Wishes. By using Baby Wishes’ website
and/or placing an order with us, you are indicating your acceptance of the Terms
and Conditions. We reserve the right to make changes to Baby Wishes’ website and
these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Currency
All prices quoted on this website are in Singapore Dollars.
Product Descriptions
We make every attempt to describe our items as accurately as possible.
Baby Wishes does not warrant that product descriptions are 100% accurate, complete,
reliable, updated, or error-free.
Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information
due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information, we shall
have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the
incorrect price, whether or not the order has been confirmed and payment has been
made, in which case we shall immediately issue a refund to you in the amount charged.
Product Availability
We cannot guarantee product availability and we reserve the right, without liability
or prior notice, to revise, discontinue, or cease to make available any or all products
or to cancel any orders.
Items which are shown as "Stock Availability upon Enquiry" may not be available
for immediate delivery. We will contact you within 1 working day upon receipt of
your enquiry to inform you of estimated stock availability and delivery date. You
may then proceed to place your order online should the estimated delivery date be
acceptable to you.
At times, certain products may sell out and be listed as "Out of Stock". Feel free
to drop us an email at
enquiries@babywishes.com.sg if you wish to be informed when the product
becomes available.
Order Placement & Payment Options
To add an item to your shopping Cart, click on the item of interest to enter the
product page. Enter the quantity and select the desired attribute (size, color,
title, etc). Click the "Add To Cart" button. You should
now see the selected item(s) when you click on "My Cart".
To change the quantity entered for a selected item, simply enter the new quantity
in "My Cart" and click "Update". To delete a selected item, click on the red button
at the end of the item row.
To complete your order, click on "Proceed to Checkout" and select the desired shipping
and payment option. For your convenience, we accept payments by:
1) Credit/Debit Cards - You can use your Visa, Mastercard
and American Express credit/debit card to make payments which are processed safely
and securely by PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to make payment by credit/debit card.
2)
Direct Bank Transfer - Our bank account details will be sent via
email to you upon order receipt.
3)
Cheque
- We accept Singapore Dollar
cheques drawn on a Singapore bank. Please make the crossed
cheque payable to "Baby Wishes". Delivery &
collection will be arranged once funds are cleared.
4) Cash -
Applicable for direct purchases and by personal collections at our premises
at
Commonwealth
Avenue
only
Fill in the Billing and Shipping Information, review your order and click "Process
Order" to complete your order.
Order Processing
Shortly after your order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation via email
(the "Order Confirmation Email").
For payments made by:
> Credit/debit card through Paypal: You will also receive our payment confirmation
in the Order Confirmation Email.
> Direct bank transfer: The Order
Confirmation Email will contain our bank details for your onward payment. Items
ordered will be placed on hold for 5 working days (from the day you are informed
of our bank details) pending receipt of payment. If payment is not received in our
account within 5 working days, the items will be available for purchase by other
customers.
> Cheque:
Your crossed cheque made payable to "Baby Wishes" should
reach us no later than 5 working days from the date of the Order Confirmation Email.
Please make sure there are sufficient funds in your account for
cheque clearance. For direct purchases, delivery or self-collection can
only be effected upon clearance of funds.
> Cash:
Orders will generally be held on reserve until the collection day mutually
agreed between ourselves, which shall be no more than 2 weeks from date of the Order
Confirmation Email.
Upon our receipt of payment:
> For Wishlist
purchases: The Wishlist Creator will be notified of
your gift via email. Your gift will be clearly indicated with your name and grouped
with other gifts for the Wishlist Creator, to be delivered
before or after the baby is born, as desired by the Wishlist
Creator.
> For all other purchases: We will be contacting
you to arrange for delivery.
Gift Wrapping
Gift-wrap is the perfect way to package your
gift for that special newborn. At a nominal charge of $4 per item, your gift will
be wrapped and decorated with matching ribbon and a Baby Wishes gift tag. For bulky
items that cannot be wrapped, we will decorate it with a nice ribbon bow and gift
tag at the same charge. If you would like your item(s) gift-wrapped, simply click
on the Gift Wrap option during Checkout. You may also enter a personal message not
exceeding 240 words which will be printed on our Baby Wishes gift tag.
Delivery
For Wishlist Purchases*
We know what it’s like to juggle pregnancy and parenthood with the 101 other things
on your plate, so we endeavour to arrange for delivery
at your convenience.
We will contact you 6 weeks before your EDD (estimated delivery date) to discuss
delivery options. You can choose to purchase all outstanding items on your wishlist and have your entire wishlist
items delivered to your home at one go. Alternatively,
we can arrange for delivery of items bought as at an agreed cut-off date and deal
with subsequent purchases later. For total wishlist
purchases* exceeding $200, we will bear the cost of one delivery to any location
in
Singapore
. This means that if a friend purchases an item for you from your
wishlist, he/she will not be charged any delivery costs as the gift will
be grouped with other items purchased from your wishlist.
If items on your wishlist remain unpurchased,
you may choose to buy all the remaining items for yourself and we can arrange for
all items to be delivered together. Otherwise, delivery charges as shown in the
table in the next section will apply.
We also welcome personal collections if you decide that you (and perhaps baby) needs
to get out for some fresh air, so do let us know and we can arrange for the necessary.
For all other Purchases*
We deliver to almost all local
Singapore
addresses. This can be your home, office, parents’ place, or hospital whichever
is most convenient for you. We do not deliver to a post office box,
Sentosa,
Jurong
Island
, or restricted places such as airport terminals, cargo complexes, military establishments,
ports, shipyards or vessels.

Deliveries are generally
effected at a mutually agreed time slot within 3 to 5 working days from your
receipt of our order confirmation by email.
Alternatively, we also welcome you to collect your order from us personally at a
mutually agreed time slot. If you wish to make cash payment on delivery, you may
do so during such self-collection.
* Excluding bulky or other items that may
require assembly on our part. These may include items such as but not limited to
cots, strollers, etc. We will contact you upon purchase of bulky items and advise
you of the costs for delivery accordingly.
Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations
It is important to us that you are happy with your gift or purchase. To ensure product
integrity and hygiene, while we do not accept returns or exchanges for any non-defective
items, we make every effort to thoroughly check our products before sending them
out. Manufacturers’ defects are covered by warranties and exchange terms set by
the manufacturer. Warranty information when available, is included inside the product
packaging or on the product box. Generally, you may return the product to us within
3 working days of delivery and we will liaise with the manufacturer to arrange for
a replacement (of the entire product or faulty part) or repair (if applicable).
If you are not happy with a product, do email us and give us your feedback so that
we can address your concerns accordingly. Once payment has been made, we do not
accept cancellations. If we are unable to fulfill your order, we will refund you
the full amount charged.
